Wyoming Nutrition Services, Inc.

A Child and Adult Care Food Program Sponsor

Welcome to WNS - please contact us with any questions you have about the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Prior to October 2014, Wyoming consisted of two agencies sponsoring CACFP for Family Child Care Homes; Children and Nutrition Services (CNS), and Nutrition and Child Development (NCD). These two agencies, along with the Department of Education, also sponsored Child Care Centers.

As of October 1, 2014, CNS and NCD began operating as one agency, Wyoming Nutrition Services. This agency is now the only organization in Wyoming to sponsor Family Child Care Homes on the Food Program.

Child Care Centers (license capacity over 15) may participate on the Food Program through the Wyoming Department of Education by contacting Judy DiRienzo at 307-777-6262.

The staff at Wyoming Nutrition Services look forward to serving Wyoming child care providers and parents for many years to come.

BENEFITS OF CACFP

Because CACFP participants' nutritional needs are supported on a daily basis, the program plays a vital role in improving the quality of child care and making it affordable for families.
